IMPORTANT: IF INSTALLING ON A NON US ENGLISH CORE
Due to some interactions with Management Suite during the install, the OS must be switched to US English during the install process for the core only. When the install is complete, it can be switched back. For example, to change the settings on Windows Server 2008, go into Region and Language settings. On the Formats tab change the format to English (United States) and on the Administrative tab click the Change System Locale. Then set the Current System Locale to English (United States).

DELL WEB RULES - If you are having issues getting Dell Warranty information, you may need to add http://support.dell.com to your Restricted Sites in Internet Explorer on the core server and other computers you are running these rules on.

Change the account the Managed Planet Core Scan Processor services are using to one with local administrator priveleges.
To enable DTS rules to run at scan time, click the Enable Real Time Processing button in the DTS toolbar.
When ready, enable Software Store applications by right clicking on the Applications root node and selecting Enable.
When running Software Store for the first time, right click on Applications and select Maintenance, Update Icon Store.
In the LANDesk console, manually import all the .ldms files in the ManagementSuite\MP.XML\Queries directory to get various reports to properly function.
Since many ERP reports require DTS rules to be run before having good data, run the Dashboard Preparation rule group in DTS.
LANDesk Service Packs/Upgrades
When a LANDesk Management Suite Service Pack, patch or upgrade is performed, these can overwrite certain files needed by Managed Planet products. If you install software from LANDesk and it breaks Managed Planet products (such as the console tools no longer showing up in the console), you may need to run the Managed Planet Repair Installation tool from the Managed Planet program group. This should reset all of the values to what Managed Planet products need. Normally this is all you need to do, a reinstall is not necessary (if the icon does not show up in the Managed Planet program group, it is not needed).

Database Doctor
