Version 9.0 Update 1 Available Now

Update 1 for Managed Planet Extensions for LANDesk are available now.

This update includes bug fixes as well as enhancements to the Executive Report Pack that allow for effectively using very large reports like the ones produced from Software Inventory or Patch Management.

A paging mechanism is available to vastly increase the performance of reports that return very large datasets.

The update is available by logging on to the core server and clicking "Programs, Managed Planet, Check for Updates" or directly by clicking  here.

Data Translation Services

• Certain non-ASCII characters were not saved correctly in rules.
• SQL rules could not be scheduled.
• Updated Dell Warranty rules.
• Error loading scan files with Excel import and columns that were not mapped.

Database Doctor

• Could not delete computers on Management Suite 9.0.
• Delete attribute rule could not be scheduled.

Executive Report Pack

• Updated reports for changes in 9.0 patch tables.
• Paging has been added to most text based reports.  These reports can now return very large results (potentially millions of records).  
• Software Compliance reports would not save correctly.
• The System Compliance\LANDesk Enterprise Monthly Workstation Scorecard report needs a number of queries that did not get imported during the install.  To import these queries, for Management Suite 9.0 import the query file ManagementSuite\MP.XML\Queries\LANDesk Monthly Enterprise Workstation Scorecard.ldms file.  For Management Suite 8.8, import query file ManagementSuite\MP.XML\Queries\Scorecard_Enterprise_Maintenance_ScorecardQueries.xml.
