Managed Planet Extensions for LANDesk 9.02 Released
Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 1:22PM Managed Planet Extensions for LANDesk Version 9.02 is available now.
This update includes support for LANDesk Management Suite 9.0 SP 2 as well as DOTNET 4.0. New features include updates to Asset Control, Data Translation Services, Executive Report Pack and Software Store.
The update is available by logging on to the core server and clicking "Programs, Managed Planet, Check for Updates" or directly by clicking here.
All Products
Updated to support Windows 2008 Server Service Pack 1 and Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
· Support has been dropped for Management Suite v8.7 and earlier.
Executive Report Pack
· Added two new reports for historical patch and vulnerability reporting. These will show up under ERP in the ERP console.
Computers that failed a scheduled task - A list of computers which have failed scheduled tasks.
Task History by Computer - A list of patch tasks and the success and failure results.
This update includes a new service that needs to run. It will track scheduled tasks and extract the vulnerability information needed to run these reports.
· Updated the include\exclude lists to allow for horizontal scrolling.
· Added two new SLM reports for filtering SLM/Licensed Software integrated reports by Vendor and Product Name.
· Added new features to create pivot table type reports.
Data Translation Services
· Fixed Autodesk rules that were misnamed with AutDesk.
· Updated a a number of Licensed Software rules.
· Updated CDW rules due to a change in the CDW website.
· Several issues with modeling data resolved.
· Rules that referenced one to many components could not insert new data when run against a rollup database.
· Updated Lenovo and Dell warranty rules due to changes in their websites.
Database Doctor
· Updated to support new tables in Management Suite 9.0 SP2.
Discovery Services
· Added support for finding HP Model Numbers from HP's WMI provider. It may be necessary to install the HP Provider. Currently it is located at: located at http://h20331.www2.hp.com/Hpsub/cache/284014-0-0-225-121.html. If it is not there search for HP's Client Management Interface.
